I found the march in London this weekend a hugely sad event with both 'sides' not listening to each other. The man with a UKIP sign shouted, "Obama is a muslim because he has a muslim name" and "Muslims are taking over the world". People laughed in his face and poured scorn on him and his children, where I felt hugely sad for the man, that he'd exchanged one extremism of religious terrorism for his own extremist beliefs and in doing so felt he was saving his country.

On the way to a job I stumbled across UKIPs poster campaign and this is the conversation I had with one of the van drivers:


"Ear, Farage is in that cafe round the corner but I didn't tell you that. See I don't mind those polish and Romanians some of my best mates are them, but someone else I know knows someone that lost a council house to Romanian family. Still I don't mind I'm getting paid to drive this van ...minimum wage mind".
