I found the march in London this weekend a hugely sad event with both 'sides' not listening to each other. The man with a UKIP sign shouted, "Obama is a muslim because he has a muslim name" and "Muslims are taking over the world". People laughed in his face and poured scorn on him and his children, where I felt hugely sad for the man, that he'd exchanged one extremism of religious terrorism for his own extremist beliefs and in doing so felt he was saving his country.
